Conference Season - Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists Congress

Once every 10 years the Royal Australian and New Zealand college of ophthalmologists (RANZCO) congress comes to Perth. The meeting is held at the Perth convention centre on the 28th October to 1st November.

This is the main annual official meeting of all the eye surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. There are presentations on clinical education and scientific advances. It is also a large trade show where all the latest diagnostic and surgical devices are showcased.

Additionally there are a number of associated meetings around the main event.  

This year Dr Chan presented on laser corneal surgery for ophthalmic nurses in the AONA (Australian Ophthalimic Nurses Association) meeting.
